Terms of engagement
Governing terms for the Operational Trust Review service. Last updated May 2026.
Service description
The Operational Trust Review is an advisory service. It produces a structured report and set of recommendations based on information you provide. It is not a cybersecurity audit, penetration test, legal opinion, or certification exercise. Engagement of the Review does not constitute accreditation of any kind.
No guarantee of outcomes
Recommendations are based on the information available at the time of Review. Operational Trust makes no warranty, expressed or implied, that implementing recommendations will achieve regulatory compliance, prevent incidents, or satisfy the requirements of any third party. You remain responsible for your own operational and regulatory obligations.
Scope and engagement
Scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees are agreed in writing before work begins. The fixed fee for a standard Operational Trust Review is €2,400. Variations to scope require written agreement from both parties.
Confidentiality
Information you share during the Review is treated as confidential. We do not publish, share, or reference client engagements without explicit written consent. Review reports are your property on delivery.
Intellectual property
Methodologies, frameworks, and templates remain the intellectual property of Operational Trust. The Review report produced for your engagement is licensed to you for internal use. SOP templates distributed through this site are provided for internal adaptation; redistribution requires written permission.
Limitation of liability
Operational Trust's aggregate liability for any claim arising from a Review engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your engagement governs that engagement. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
